My Fashionista Journey
Hello, Everyone! My name is Stacy, online I go by Lady Odd. I am a clothes addict and have been since I was about 5 years old.
When I was younger finding clothes was so easy. It was never a problem walking into a store and picking out a trendy outfit, they always had the right size. As I got older this task became much harder. There were times I absolutely dreaded having to go find a new outfit for an occasion. While my girlfriends were casually picking through racks, I was often times in another part of the store, separated into “Woman’s World”. Yes, the plus size areas of the store. In this section of the store, there were clothes that used to be not so trendy. The kinds of clothes you saw sweet ol’ grandmothers wearing. Not that there’s anything wrong with those clothes, but as a young lady they just didn’t shout time for fun!
I have been considered plus size since I was about 16. Growing up in a smaller town it was difficult to find a cute outfit. Something that showed I was full figured and fabulous. Times have certainly changed, and thankfully so. It’s much simpler to find fashionable attire, especially online.
The reason I have created this site is to help people like you, searching for your inner fashionista. To do this I’m going to share my personal experiences with you, some joyous successes, others not so much. All experience is worth it, whether good or bad, it brings us knowledge. I want to share my knowledge with you.
I’d also like you to share your knowledge with me. If I ever say anything that captures your interest, please feel free to get involved on my site. I love talking about fashion and life, struggles and successes. If ever you have anything interesting that you want to share or any opinions of any of the content I have created on my site, please do speak up. I love feedback in every form.
So a little about me…
As I’ve stated I am a Plus Size fashionista. I’m 39 years old and I have struggled with my weight since I was in my teens. It’s taken a very long time to be comfortable in my own skin and I’m still working on it. Like everyone, full figured or not, I want to look in the mirror and love what I see. The perfect outfit can change your entire day. If you’re wearing an outfit that fits well and hides what you want while accentuating the features you like best, you feel better about yourself. Every day a lot of us are trying to see ourselves in a better light, boost our self-esteem. Fashion can help. To some that may sound silly, but all that matters is how you see yourself. I know for me when I feel like I look good, I feel unstoppable. That’s how I want you to feel too. Every woman should feel like the powerful goddess she is. No matter your size or fashion sense there will be something on this site for you.
I wish you all the best of luck finding your inner fashionista! Thank you for dropping by!
